Grammar and spelling are important in every industry.

No matter what you choose as your eventual field in the workforce, being able to spell will benefit you. Case in point, the article entitled “Traumatic’ tattoo typo costs Nova Scotia parlour nearly $9,000” from today’s  ‘National Post.’ How did Ms. Huckle miss that spelling error at that time?

The final paragraph give us all a kindly reminder of caveat emptor

“In another Nova Scotia court case, Amy Ullock got a tattoo that said ‘You’re so beatiful.’ However, the judge ruled that having seen the phrase on the computer, the stencil and on her arm, Ms. Ullock was ‘the author of her own misfortune.’ ”
