A great Episode of the Journal from CBC archive that will give you a great insight into the public fear surrounding HIV/AIDS in the 1980s. (circa 1985)

*A great account of the  fascinating story surrounding the discovery of HIV/AIDS can be read in the book: ‘And the Band Played On: Politics, People, and the AIDS Epidemic‘ by Randy Shilts. In 1993 it was turned into an excellent movie by the same name.
